Description

Captain Amado Cantillo, president of the Cuban Pilots Association and founder of the Bay of Pigs Air Memorial, photographed on the granite bench at the foot of the memorial's central pillar. Three bronze plaques are visible on the pillar's faces; the largest lists the names of Brigade 2506. The white and red paving behind him is part of the Cuban flag laid into the ground across the site.
